A Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department provides direct and indirect patient care, utilizing clinical knowledge and nursing processes to assess, plan, and implement individualized care for culturally diverse patients. They collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based practices, participate in quality improvement activities, and support patient and family education. The role requires licensure as a registered nurse and certifications such as BLS and ACLS, with additional specialized certifications depending on the unit.

Certification within 6 months of hire if experienced or within 1 year for new graduate nurse
